ABOUT THE WSB BURSARY PROGRAMME – FIELDS COVERED

World Sports Betting Cares (WSB Cares) is inviting students to apply for their bursary programme, to help settle any outstanding tuition fees.

Bursaries will be awarded to students who recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in ICT (Information and Communications Technologies) fields listed below, who have outstanding study fees that may be preventing them from receiving their qualification certificates.

  • Computer and Information Sciences in Application Development (Bachelor of)
  • Computer Science (BSc)
  • Data Engineering (Bachelor of)
  • Information Systems (BSc)
  • Information Technology (BSc)
  • Information Technology (BIT)
  • Or any related Degree

This programme aims to remove the financial obstacles that prevent graduates from completing their professional requirements and accessing job opportunities in the ICT industry. By reducing these cost-related challenges, it empowers young professionals to enter the workforce with confidence and build sustainable, rewarding careers in technology.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE WSB BURSARY

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):

  • You must be a South African citizen
  • You must have recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in one of the ICT fields listed above
  • You must have outstanding student debt
  • You must have achieved a minimum academic average of 70%
