WHAT OTHER BENEFITS DOES THE DIGBY WELLS BURSARY COVER?

Bursary recipients may be required to partake in vacation work or internships at Digby Wells Environmental during university holidays.

After graduation, bursary recipients may be requested to work for Digby Wells Environmental for a period equivalent to the duration of their bursary funding received.

WHAT ARE THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE DIGBY WELLS BURSARY?

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):

  • You must be a South African citizen
  • You must be currently in Matric or have completed Matric
  • You must be studying or intend on studying full-time, towards a qualification within one of the fields listed above
  • You must be enrolled or intend on enrolling to study at a recognised tertiary institution in South Africa
  • You must have a strong academic record and be dedicated to your studies
  • You must be passionate about environmental sustainability
  • You must have a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to contributing to society and the environment

Digby Wells and Associates (Pty) Ltd was formed by 3 partners, all of whom were from the Environmental Management Department of Rand Mines. The company was formed in 1995 and named after the late Mr Digby Wells, who was a role player in the South African environmental management field.
