The Patrick Nndwamato Foundation is inviting students to apply for their bursary programme, for the 2027 academic year.
Bursaries will be awarded for to students who are passionate about learning hands-on skills, therefore bursaries will be awarded for studies within Artisan trades, including: Plumbing, Electrician Tailoring, Carpentry and more.
Candidates who are interested in pursuing a bright career within the high-demand artisan industry, are invited to apply.

Shortlisted candidates will be contacted by 30 May 2026 – if you do not receive any feedback by this date, please consider your application as unsuccessful.

WHAT ARE THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE PN FOUNDATION BURSARY?
Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):
- You must be a South African citizen
- You must have completed Matric
- You must intend on studying towards becoming an Artisan (Plumbing, Electrical Work, Tailoring, Carpentry etc)
- You must have applied to study at a Colleges or TVET institution in South Africa (the bursary will NOT cover University studies)
- You must be passionate about becoming an artisan and for working with hands-on skills
- You must NOT be currently receiving a bursary from the PN Foundation
HOW CAN I APPLY FOR THE PN FOUNDATION BURSARY?
Applications must be submitted online at: PN Foundation Bursary Application 2027
At the end of the application, where it asks where you heard about PN Foundation Bursary, select “Other” and then enter “www.zabursaries.co.za” in the field.
WHAT DOCUMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED FOR THE PN FOUNDATION BURSARY APPLICATION?
Submit the following supporting documentation along with your completed online application (the submission of these documents is compulsory – if any items are missing, your application may be disqualified):
- ID document (certified copy)
- Matric certificate and/ or latest academic results (certified copy)
- Course outline and quotation
- Proof of Residential Address (e.g., an account bill not older than 3 months)
- Motivational letter to support your application (read our tips on how to write a motivational letter for your bursary application)

30 April 2026 (extended deadline).
(Applications submitted after this date will not be accepted – please apply before the closing date to ensure your application is considered.)
