About Pick n Pay Learnerships:

Pick n Pay is inviting learners to apply for their learnership programme, at various stores. The programme is open to talented learners, who share the companies values and are keen to learn from a team of skilled and experienced professionals.

Pick n Pay aims to create opportunities for students within the fields of Hospitality, Marketing, Business Admin, HR Workplace Experience Programme learnership positions in the retail industry. PnP learnerships allow for individuals to gain valuable experience across a range of disciplines, to thereby ensure they achieve the professional and personal experience required to further their career and reach their full potential.

Closing date: 31 October 2023
Location: KwaZulu-Natal and Western Cape
Duration of the programme: 12 months
Highest qualification required: Matric/ Grade 12

Entry criteria:

Candidates interested in applying must fulfil the following minimum entry criteria (please do not apply unless you meet all of the criteria):

  • You must have completed Matric
  • You must reside in KwaZulu-Natal or the Western Cape
  • You must be unemployed
  • You must be determined, focused and dedicated
  • You must demonstrate professional values and attitudes
  • You must be able to integrate acumen and technical competence with each area of the value creation process
  • You must be committed to completing the 12 month programme

 

Selection:

Before final selection is made, candidates will be required to attend a competency based interview. Shortlisted applicants may be subjected to relevant assessments.

Candidates must submit the following documents when applying (note that shortlisted candidates may be requested to provide further documents):

  • ID Document (certified copy)
  • Grade 12 / Matric certificate
