Ruth Titilayo Secondary School Scholarship 2024 (for Nigerian students)

ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP PROVIDER – RUTH TITILAYO FOUNDATION

The Ruth Titilayo Foundation was created with the aim of making education accessible and equal to all children, regardless of their background or circumstances. The Foundation believes that education is a basic human right, and that all children should be given the chance to reach their fullest potential. Through this, the Ruth Titilayo trust hopes to create a world where the foundation’s services are no longer needed as all children have access to quality education.

The foundation got its name from Ruth Titilayo (Iya Taiwo), who was born in 1955 and attended the Abeokuta Girls Grammar School. Titilayo later went on to study at the University of Ibadan in Nigeria, where she honed in on her passion, helping those less privileged. On the 20th anniversary of her death, her legacy lived on as the Ruth Titilayo Educational Foundation was established.
