ABOUT THE BURSARY PROVIDER – MANCOSA

MANCOSA (Management College of Southern Africa) is a leading private higher education institution in Africa, offering accredited and flexible distance-learning programmes in business, management, education, and technology. As part of the Honoris United Universities network, MANCOSA focuses on innovation, digital skills, and career-focused education through online learning and campuses across major South African cities.

weFEEDsa is a non-profit organisation that began during the 2020 COVID-19 lockdown, as a grassroots response by a group of volunteers, to feed vulnerable communities. Their main goals include: feeding; education (through training, bursaries, and SETA-accredited courses to equip people with skills to break poverty); and empowerment (through skills development, job readiness, & community initiatives that help people build dignified futures).
 

ABOUT THE BURSARY PROGRAMME – FIELDS COVERED & COVERAGE VALUE

weFEEDsa is inviting students to apply for the MANCOSA bursary programme, for the 2026 academic year.

Bursaries will be awarded for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at MANCOSA, including but not limited to:

  • Business Management
  • Human Resource Management
  • Marketing
  • Project Management
  • Public Administration
  • Supply Chain Management
  • any related Business and Management disciplines

The MANCOSA bursary is aimed at highly motivated and academically achieving students, who are committed to building a successful future. Through the MANCOSA Bursary Programme, full funding is made available to eligible students registered for selected undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications. This initiative is designed to assist learners who excel academically, show leadership promise, and require financial support to continue their studies.

The bursary will provide cover for tuition fees, as well as access to online learning platforms and academic resources, and academic support services.

There will NOT be any service contract or work-back obligation.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE MANCOSA BURSARY

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):

  • You must be a South African citizen
  • You must wish to study towards an Undergraduate or Postgraduate qualification, within one of the fields of study listed above, at MANCOSA
  • You must meet MANCOSA’s admission requirements for the selected programme
  • You must be committed to completing a qualification through MANCOSA
  • You must have a strong academic record
  • You must demonstrate financial need
  • You must show leadership qualities and community involvement

 

HOW TO APPLY FOR THE BURSARY

Submit clear copies of the following supporting documentation along with your completed application form (the submission of these documents is compulsory – if any items are missing, your application be disregarded):

  • ID document (certified copy)
  • Matric certificate (certified copy)
  • Tertiary academic record (if applicable)
  • Proof of tertiary registration or acceptance at MANCOSA
  • Proof of household income: parents, guardians or own latest payslips if employed/ affidavit if unemployed/ proof of social grant or pension if applicable
  • Proof of residence
  • Proof of disability (if applicable)
