MORE ABOUT THE METROHM SA BURSARY – SELECTION
Applicants will be shortlisted based on the following main criteria: academic performance, motivational letter, financial need, and alignment with Metrohm’s values.
All applications will be reviewed by the Metrohm SA bursary committee. Shortlisted applicants will then be contacted.
Metrohm SA may invite shortlisted candidates to attend interviews or provide additional information during the selection process.
The successful bursary recipient will be publicly announced on Metrohm SA’s official social media platforms. By applying, candidates acknowledge and accept that their name and academic achievement may be shared for promotional purposes, unless otherwise requested in writing.
Bursary recipients may be required to submit academic progress reports or transcripts during the year and may be invited to participate in Metrohm SA events, mentorship programmes, or promotional activities.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE METROHM SA BURSARY
Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):
- You must be a South African citizen
- You must be studying or intend on studying towards an undergraduate Chemistry qualification
- You must be currently enrolled or planning to enrol at a recognised and accredited University or Tertiary Institution in South Africa
- You must demonstrate academic potential
- You must demonstrate financial need
- You must be highly motivated
- You must be passionate about science
- You must have outstanding fees for the 2025 academic year or are planning to continue studies in 2026
