NSFAS Loan to fund ‘missing middle’ students
The SA government has announced that NSFAS funding will be available for ‘missing middle’ students (household income between R350 000 and R600 000 per year).
The SA government has announced that NSFAS funding will be available for ‘missing middle’ students (household income between R350 000 and R600 000 per year).
NSFAS encourages students to submit their appeal for 2024 financial aid funding. The appeal process is for students whose applications were rejected or withdrawn.
From the 2023 academic year, NSFAS has announced that allowances will be paid into students NSFAS bank accounts and recipients will receive a Mastercard to make and receive payments.
NSFAS applications are open for 2023 studies at TVET colleges in South Africa. Students pursuing vocational and occupational skills programmes may apply now for funding.
