ABOUT THE ZONAX GROUP BURSARY PROGRAMME – FIELDS COVERED
The Zonax Group is inviting students to apply for their bursary programme, for the 2026 academic year.
Bursaries will be awarded for studies at Ekurhuleni East TVET College (EEC) and Ekurhuleni West TVET College (EWC) only, within an Engineering field.
The Zonax Group bursary programme aims to provide financial assistance to deserving and motivated students who demonstrate academic potential, a commitment to learning, and an intention to pursue studies leading to a recognised qualification.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ZONAX GROUP BURSARY
Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):
- You must be a South African citizen
- You must have completed Matric
- You must be studying or registering to study at Ekurhuleni East TVET College (EEC) or Ekurhuleni West TVET College (EWC)
- You must be studying or intend on studying towards an Engineering qualification
- You must have achieved a minimum academic average of 60%
- You must be from previously disadvantaged groups (Employment Equity candidates)
- You must NOT be receiving NSFAS funding or any other funding
HOW TO APPLY FOR THE ZONAX GROUP BURSARY
Students who meet the above criteria, may obtain a copy of the application form at the campuses of Ekurhuleni East TVET College (EEC) or Ekurhuleni West TVET College (EWC).
Submit clear copies of the following supporting documentation along with your email application (the submission of these documents is compulsory – if any items are missing, your application may be disqualified):
- ID document (certified copy)
- Most recent academic results
- Proof of registration for the 2026 academic year
- Invoice, statement of account, or proof of study costs
- Confirmation that you are NOT in receipt of NSFAS or any other funding for the same course of study
Applications must be submitted directly through the Bursary Office or Student Support Center at your specific College campus.
